The permanent increase of higher education institutions that offer online and distance degrees around the world seems to have no end; nevertheless, the evaluation processes to determine the quality of these offer is limited. As a result, there is a demanding need for accreditation institutions to identify specific models of evaluation that allow proper accreditation and/or certification.
Distance Education Network Consortium (CREAD), Virtual Educa (VE), the Latin American and Caribbean Institute of Distance Higher Education Quality (CALED) and Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL), hereby call to the VI Cread Andes Convention and VI Virtual Educa Ecuador Encounter to address the above premise. The congress will offer the right environment to discuss new paradigms around evaluation and accreditation processes for higher distance education in the Americas, Asia Africa, Europe, and Oceania.
We would like to invite you all to participate in this highly important gathering and share your experiences and ideas with representatives and experts from five continents from May 29 to June 1, 2018 in Loja, Ecuador.
